The Start Of a New Journey
At the beginning of 2020, EnergyLogic acquired Sustainably Built, the premier Boulder region energy consulting and compliance firm. While Mark Bloomfield, Sustainably Built’s owner, has moved on to other opportunities; all the other experience and expertise has joined the EnergyLogic team. The goal of the acquisition was to expand our expertise in complex custom home, multifamily, and commercial projects in Boulder and throughout the Front Range region while leveraging EnergyLogic’s organizational capabilities and scale.
Sustainably Built's Originals
Nine months after the acquisition, the integration is mostly complete. Andy Mazal is our Custom Home Program Manager working with both Boulder-based clients among other clients to ensure that our custom projects are moving from initial analysis and modeling to C/O. You may not see Andy performing blower door and duct leakage tests as often, but he is still involved in delivering the highest quality service. Sage Calamari is our Custom Home Division Coordinator making sure that custom homes are properly set up in our on-line system and other administrative and billing tasks.
What's Coming Around the Bend
We have kept the Sustainably Built brand on some of our proposals, marketing, and branding resources. This has been more confusing than beneficial in many cases. Over the next few weeks, we will be reducing the branding of Sustainably Built and delivering information under EnergyLogic. We are committed to maintaining the legacy of Sustainably Built and incorporating their ethos into everything we do. Coming soon, however, the dual branding will be reduced, and you should expect to see proposals, reports, and other documentation coming from EnergyLogic.
