Coming Together For a Great Cause
EnergyLogic is proud to work with Covington Homes in supporting the Colorado Springs St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway -- an annual fundraiser for childhood cancer research and treatment. For seven years, Covington Homes has tirelessly spearheaded and actively promoted this lifesaving cause. This year's dream home, located in Banning Lewis Ranch, is 2,700 square feet and features four bedrooms, four bathrooms, gourmet kitchen with designer staggered cabinets, and a finished basement.
Putting Every Dollar to Work
This annual event is one of the largest ways St. Jude raises money for their hospital. EnergyLogic and other trade partners donate all materials, labor, and land needed to build the home for zero cost. One hundred percent of the proceeds from ticket sales to go directly to St. Jude Hospital. Under the leadership of Covington Homes, the Colorado Springs St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway has raised over six million dollars in direct funding.
Finding Cures. Saving Children.
St. Jude's mission is to advance cures, and means of prevention, for catastrophic pediatric diseases through research and treatment. Best of all, no child is denied treatment based on race, religion, or a family's ability to pay. St. Jude does not bill families for its care and services. The research hospital has increased the survival rate of childhood cancers, from one in five when the hospital opened over 50 years ago to nearly four in five today.
