What passions, talents, or interests do you bring to your position at EL?
I have a background in environmental consulting and a degree in Sustainable Development from Appalachian State University. My passion for sustainability is something I carry with me every day in the field.
What is your favorite thing about your job?
Making a positive difference for a more sustainable future.
Do you have a favorite core value? If so, why?
B - Build A Better Mousetrap. Every day presents a new challenge. Formulating a creative solution to any problem that may arise, and learning from our mistakes is the key to growing within the field and moving forward in life.
Do you have any unique hobbies?
I have been to 49/50 states and over 30 countries. When I have the ability, I love to travel and explore new places. Learning from other cultures and experiencing life from a new perspective. Some of my favorite countries I’ve traveled to are Thailand, Italy, Australia, Japan, and Ecuador.
How would you spend your perfect Saturday?
Make a good breakfast, Greek omelet, bacon, fresh fruit, and a coffee… pack the car and head into the mountains for a day at the lake kayaking and stomping around with my dog Benny… coming home and ordering Thai food, and watching the Maple Leafs win on Hockey Night in Canada.
