What passions, talents, or interests do you bring to your position at EL?

I strongly believe in the Art of Preventative Maintenance, which is a lost one. To participate in this at an organizational level would allow me to advance my knowledge of the built environment and overall ability to instill a sense of commitment to green building techniques in all aspects.

What excites you about working at Energylogic?

The community which cultivates behind the scenes, coupled with the desire to have newcomers (like me) succeed and flourish within their respective roles.

What is on the top of your current bucket list?

I've spent years diligently working to be where I’m today, and often times overlook all of the work I've put into this space. In simple terms, career fulfillment is at the top of my list, but to create a just and equitable future with regard to building Climate Resilient Communities supersedes that.

Where/what did you study in school?

I studied at Chatham University, on their sustainability campus dubbed Eden Hall. There we had 388 acres to frolic around in and a rich history of the land we studied alongside. My studies were focused on Sustainable Business, with a Minor in Food Systems and a focus on Renewable Energy Grid Systems.

How would you spend your perfect Saturday?

I thoroughly enjoy time alone, and a slow morning where I meet the sunrise. Smooth jazz on record, the windows open, a cup of tea, and a book to escape in are key to a productive day. I'd wander off into a greenspace near me, spend time listening to the world, and meditating on the little things. I see this as a way to find gratitude not only for the week prior, but the one ahead as well. It's the best way to reset and relax into myself.
