Wynne Maggi

President & Chief Culture Officer

With EnergyLogic since day one, January 2006

What is your favorite thing about your job?

First, of course, it's the people who work here. But as an owner and Chief Culture Officer, it's exciting to me to have a hand in making the sort of work-world I believe in- a truly good place to work.

What passions, talents, or interests do you bring to your position at EnergyLogic?

I'm an anthropologist, so I get a chance to put all that social theory to work, to see how culture emerges from the interactions and talents of all the people associated with EnergyLogic--our Logicians, our clients, our vendors, and the big, crazy world outside of EL as well. And finally, I'm passionate about working to align my head and my heart. Running a company is hard, and I get many chances to see things from lots of perspectives and make choices that balance the interests of the people who work here, the value we provide to our clients, and the profit we need to make to continue to be a solid company for many years.

I also love to cook, and we have salad day every week. I love animals, and there are lots of them running around the office. I care about good writing and beautiful design, and every day I have opportunities to work on both of those skills in very practical ways.

Wynne Maggi - The EnergyLogic Team

What made you want to work at EnergyLogic?

Love.

What is something people may be surprised to know about you?

I lived in the Kalasha Valleys in Northern Pakistan for two years in the early 90s. I wrote a book about it, Our Women are Free: Gender and Ethnicity in the Hindukush.

What makes up your family?

I have dogs and chickens and a cat. I'm lucky to have an extended family all around. My husband, Steve, is EnergyLogic's CEO, and we have always been partners in every single thing. We have two daughters, Ariel and Emma, who are in college, and who each have my whole heart.

Do you have any unique hobbies/talents?

I knit tiny animals.

Is there anything else you want people to know about you?

I'm very grateful for everything I've learned on this EnergyLogic journey. Thank you to all of you.
