Information & Intelligence Support
With EnergyLogic since May 2018
What passions, talents, or interests do you bring to your position at EL?
I really enjoy problem-solving and creative thinking. Figuring out how to overcome a software design problem often feels like detective work, and like any great detective nothing feels more satisfying than when you see things from a different perspective and the solution suddenly clicks into place.
What made you want to work at EnergyLogic?
Its progressive focus on job quality and workplace culture, as well as its mission to reduce carbon emissions one home at a time.
What does an Information & Intelligence Support person do at EnergyLogic?
As the I&I Software Support Specialist, I primary work with DASH, EnergyLogic's rating company management software. I instruct users on the many features DASH has to offer and provide support with technical issues. I also help with the development and testing of new features and future updates for the software.
What is something people may be surprised to know about you?
Music is my passion, and during my time at CSU I worked as the Music Director at KCSU, the student radio station! I was in charge of working with national promoters to get the best new music on our station. I also hosted a weekly radio show called Jukebox Time Machine, where I would pick a theme (songs about New York City for example) and create a diverse playlist around it organized chronologically, usually beginning with classic rock from the 50's-60's and ending with new releases.
How would you spend your perfect Saturday?
A beautiful hike with loved ones, then a relaxed evening of delicious food with some friends and some video games (did someone say Mario Kart?). Honestly any Saturday not spent doing laundry feels pretty perfect to me!
