People & Culture Coordinator
With EnergyLogic since September 2021
What passions, talents, or interests do you bring to your position at EL?
I am an extrovert and genuinely enjoy making connections with others. I feel like one of my best qualities is being a good communicator. I enjoy wearing many different "hats" and knowing that I have made a difference in someone's day!
What is your favorite thing about your job?
I love the genuineness of others and how intentional all of our employees are in helping one another be the best they can be in their jobs!
Do you have a favorite core value? If so, why?
Both "A" - All for One & One for All and "D" -Do the Right Thing! It is important to "show up" and be the best you can be. It is just as important to recognize when you have made a mistake and be accountable for that. One never stops learning. One of my favorite quotes in life has been, "Whether you think you can or you think you can't, you're right." Our attitude determines our successes and failures in life.
What made you want to work at EnergyLogic?
I have always heard nothing but wonderful things about the company and the people who work for EL. I personally align with the company's mission as well, "to meet our partners where they are and engage them in the journey..." I think it is important to recognize that we aren't all from the same background or even at the same place in our lives. But if we take time to meet and accept people where they are at in that moment, we will all come together and be able to work for the common goal.
Where/what did you study in school?
I received my B.A. in Sociology with a concentration in Criminal Justice from Colorado State University.
What is something people may be surprised to know about you?
I am an only child but never acted like one. I was raised by two self employed parents who showed me what hard work, commitment, and humility looked like to be successful, and more so how to be proud about the person you are and how other's perceive you!
What is on the top of your current bucket list?
I would love to travel to Greece and Italy.
What makes up your family?
My husband Mike and I just celebrated 22 years of marriage and we have three children; Emma, Avery and Bode. We also have two dogs; Murphy and Hutch.
