"Mastery occurs when you seek and treasure the beauty of solitary repetition". I heard this from a previous supervisor while working for the US Forest Service. He was referring to the repetitions it takes to feel confident in cutting down trees with a chainsaw. I think there's a solid chance he stole the quote some athlete but In my mind its totally his quote and its applicable to anything in life you want to get good at.

I'm looking forward to learning all I can about building science and working towards my rater certification. It's awesome to see the growth and opportunity that EL provides to its employees.

I am the youngest of 5 kids.

I think the top 2 right now are bike-packing the Continental Divide Trail and running the Wonderland Trail which circles Mount Rainer.

I grew up in the Bay Area of California and have lived in Hood River, Oregon, Dillon, Colorado, and spent about a half of a year in New Zealand on a work permit.
