Thanksgiving at EnergyLogic 2025

Published November 17, 2025
Imagine that we didn’t have a holiday for giving thanks. We’d need to create one if that were the case. Because, we sure need to take at least one day a year and stop to give thanks. Probably better would be if we did so every day. Or maybe more than once a day. It’s difficult though.
Like many holidays Thanksgiving elicits a lot of different emotions for people. For some it’s their very favorite holiday. It might be because it’s not Christmas or because it’s got that Fall vibe or because there really is only one true Thanksgiving movie to watch, “Planes, Trains and Automobiles,” or perhaps it’s something else entirely. For others, it might be their least favored holiday for equally valid reasons.
Every year, like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder. Some years are great and some years suck. Of course, each year isn’t really that cut and dry. Great years have low points and bad years have at least not quite so low points. So, hopefully, for each of us, there is something to be thankful for.
Here’s what we’re thankful for even in the face of a challenging year.
- Our team and our teammates – working with people that you respect and appreciate is something to be thankful for.
- The partners we work with – we appreciate each and every one of you. Again, it’s been a rough year for everyone but we’re thankful for what we accomplish together.
- We’re thankful for the nature of the work we do – shelter is a basic human need and building homes is an honorable profession. We’re proud to be part of that and in particular, part of helping make homes more sustainable and efficient.
- To that end, we’re thankful for the amazing planet that we live on in all it’s natural glory and the incredible diversity of people across the globe that make up our collective humanity.
We wish you all a happy Thanksgiving and hope you much to be thankful for.
