2021 ENERGY STAR® Partner of the Year: Sustained Excellence Award

Our laurels never rest as we chase perfection in our efforts to make a difference in the world by our commitment to delivering real climate solutions and leading the way to a clean energy economy. We're honored to receive the 2021 ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year: Sustained Excellence Award!

In 2020, we made strides toward advancing our longstanding track record of commitment to ENERGY STAR with these leading contributions: 

• We verified 2,346 ENERGY STAR certified homes in 2020 for a cumulative total of 40,201 ENERGY STAR certified homes verified since 2006.
• We inspected more than 9,000 homes in 2020 for code or program compliance, quality assurance, and builder risk, with 26.9% of total inspection work completed for ENERGY STAR requirements.
• We worked with 12 Rater Partners, who verified 542 of EnergyLogic’s 2,346 ENERGY STAR certified homes in 2020. We helped implement community-wide standards by developing and vetting an ongoing dialogue to help grow the ENERGY STAR Certified Homes Program.

• We expanded our market share through EnergyLogic's acquisition of Boulder, Colorado-based Sustainably Built in March 2020. Our joined teams have produced lucrative opportunities to further service, educate, and promote the government-backed ENERGY STAR program for unparalleled energy efficiency, comfort, durability, indoor air quality, and peace of mind.

• We were named the 2020 Indoor airPLUS™ Leader of the Year, announced at the 2020 Energy & Environmental Building Alliance (EEBA) Virtual High Performance Home Summit.

• We helped building professionals adapt to the remote oversight procedures necessitated by COVID-19, including holding a webinar attended by more than 50 local building officials.

• We continue to integrate the QA GenieLite software into our internal and external quality assurance programs to ensure the quality of the RESNET^® HERS Index verification, which is critical to the certification of ENERGY STAR homes.

• We consistently demonstrate the link between code compliance and ENERGY STAR. We do this through thought leadership, industry partner support and collaborations, green building and net-zero goals, RESNET^® HERS builder incentive programs, and local utility entities. 

EnergyLogic advocates for our partners’ success. Education and training are cornerstones of our partnerships and services. As an integrated partner, our role is to help builders propel their building practices and gain a competitive edge by building better homes and promoting the value of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) ENERGY STAR label across a digitally-driven market.
