New Services for a Sustainable Future
EnergyLogic is excited to announce the expansion of our service offerings with the introduction of two new, forward-thinking services: Carbon Accounting and the Integrated Design Process (IDP).
With a strong foundation in sustainability, we are now extending our expertise to offer Carbon Accounting to help our clients accurately measure and manage their carbon impact. Additionally, our IDP service takes our consulting to the next level by integrating energy and sustainability considerations from the very start of the design process. By planning ahead and considering future changes, we aim to help our builder clients navigate not just their current projects, but also prepare for the challenges and opportunities of the future.
Carbon Accounting
While we’ve been deeply involved in assessing the carbon impact of our own operations for years, especially in the context of our B-Corp applications, we haven’t formally offered that type of service to our clients. We’re pleased to announce that we are able to offer this service to clients wherever they are. This might entail calculations for a certification, like B-Corp, or an assessment of the energy use and carbon impact of homes that one of our builder partners builds for use in a sustainability report.
We take pride in conducting our assessments the right way and don’t engage in shortcuts or anything that might undermine the credibility of our work and your reputation. We take the time to explore your needs, what is possible in assessment and what the assumptions are that should or should not be made.
Carbon accounting quantifies the amount of greenhouse gases (GHGs) and climate impact produced directly and indirectly from a business’s or organization’s activities within a set of boundaries.
Integrated Design Process (IDP)
We’re also pleased to offer IDP services to our builder clients. IDP is the evolution of our consulting services to take our work to the next level. By looking at projects and operations from the beginning of the design phase, we work to bring energy and sustainability into consideration early on instead of as an afterthought.
The point of IDP is to think further out than the next community or project. Yes, that is almost always the question of the moment, but in answering that question, we can also think ahead and anticipate known changes like codes and program updates. Working together in this process, we help you plan for now, next year and three years out.
